Imagine you're some guy who got a new computer on Christmas of 1999. You boot it up (it takes a while due to the Internets being dial-up) and decide to go to one of those websites they recommended. One of them is UGO.com who now has a brand-new Mondo Mini Show. And it turns out to be a colorful children's show about a gang of cute animals spinning in a merry-go-round. That is until the purple beaver flies into a tree and breaks his back.
Happy 24th birthday to the cutest, cuddliest, and unluckiest creatures of Internet culture.

It all began in December 28th, 2021. I was messin' around in Oldweb.today on the Pico's School page. And i found the original release date for Pico's School! I thought it was July 26th, but there was no way Tom would've published the game that early in the night. So i came to the conclussion that it was released in a Sunday, July 25th of 1999. At 10am i figured in January 4th. I then gave the information to the Pico Fandom. They were super excited. I provided evidence too. I then joined a TCRF Discord server and i tried giving them the date. They didn't believe me because they noticed the Pico teaser page was archived in May, and the game itself was archived in October. I then explained horribly how Oldweb.today works. The way it works is that if you put 56 seconds the game isn't there. And if you go a second later the full game is there! What it actually does is redirecting you to the pages that coincide so it gives you an idea if the game was there or not in that day. (I tried my best explaining it...) Since they way i explained it on the server was not done correctly they thought i was spreading misinfomation, making me feel antagonistic and banning me a day later. I felt bad... But i needed hope so i forgot about it. Then, while looking at the Pico's School wikipedia page i saw a November 1999 archive of the Newgrounds site. And i discovered that the Pico 1's Spanish and German translation were released in early November. While the FDA sub-site and U.F.A. were released in October 29th. I felt good and i tried my luck finding Bloodshed's release date, i did and it was in December 30th. So with those dates combined, i messaged Tom Fulp; the author of the Pico franchise. And he was pleased with my discoveries along with a release date someone else discovered. (Props to him too!) And he stated this:
So i realized the Pico series was dated to early 1999. I was feelin' good. So days passed and in the same archive i discovered Bloodshed's original release date, i also found the day it was updated to be more copyright-friendly. So basically my job in finding dates was done. I hope Tom reads this, and many more people read this. Including the good folks at The Cutting Room Floor and Two Left Thumbs. So long everyone and stay safe out there! I promise i'll credit the person who discovered Pico vs. Überkids' original release date. Goodbye.
(Edit: The guy who discovered Pico vs. Überkids' release date was GeocitiesHTML. Check him out.
